Although I see a variety of clients, I specialize in relationship counseling as well as EMDR therapy with survivors of trauma and abuse.
Having been married to the same person for over four decades, I have a rich variety of life-experiences that aid me as I help clients work on skills for making their relationship the best it can be. I know from my own marriage that fundamentally different people can resolve their differences and find the joyful intimacy and connection they once had.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) has personally helped me to recover from my own childhood trauma to become free from the anxiety I experienced for far too many years. My own healing process is the foundation for the joyful work I do with others.
Because I am committed to lifelong learning and personal change, in 2005 I decided to return to school an obtain a master’s degree in counseling. Now I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in private practice in the state of Colorado.

After three consecutive ER admissions to the hospital with life-threatening conditions in the fall of 2004, I was especially thrilled in 2015 when I realized a longtime dream by completing the Triple Bypass!
